This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or buy the book. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal language.
Who is responsible
Pray Through Business is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at ptbbook@outlook.com about anything on this page.
What this website collects
Nothing, directly. This site has no contact form, no sign-up box and no login. It does not set cookies, and it does not store anything in your browser.
Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard access logs, and the services listed below will see your IP address because your browser has to connect to them.
Other services this page loads
To display properly, the page loads a small number of files from other companies. Those companies can see your IP address and basic details about your browser:
- Google Fonts — the two typefaces used throughout the site.
- Cloudflare (cdnjs) and jsDelivr — the animation libraries that make the page move.
None of these set advertising cookies on this site, and we don't receive any information back from them.
When you buy
Checkout is handled by Whop, not by us. You are taken to their page, and they collect your name, email address, delivery address and payment details. We never see or store your card details.
To get your book to you, your name and delivery address are passed to Bookvault, the printer that produces and posts the book, and from there to the courier delivering it.
Whop uses your email address to send your order confirmation, and we use it to send your tracking link and to answer any questions you send us.
Your free bonuses are not emailed. They're unlocked inside your Whop account when you pay, and you open them by signing in there. We don't run a separate mailing list, and we won't add you to one.
Analytics and advertising
At the time of writing, this site runs no analytics and no advertising trackers. Nothing is measuring your visit.
If that changes, this page will be updated first, and you'll be asked for your consent before any non-essential tracking loads.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept for as long as we need them to deal with questions, refunds and our tax obligations. HMRC generally requires business records to be kept for six years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, where we don't need to keep it
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or restrict how we use it
- send your information to another provider
Email ptbbook@outlook.com and we'll deal with it. There's no charge, and we'll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you think we've handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
